Kelie
McIver originally hails from Topeka, Kansas and
while primarily known for her acting work, was pleased to come on board the
producing team with Shannan and Charles to work in their collective home
state of Kansas. As the current President of Midwest Entertainment
Connection (MECONN) – the organization where she first met Shannan and
Charles – she was also glad to be on set for Trail End as it was the
first project of MECONN’s Fiscal Sponsorship Program. Kelie’s own short
film script has been chosen for that same program and she will be making her
directing debut with it in 2007.
STEVE PILAPIL - Associate Producer
A
Southern California ‘valley boy’ by heart, Steve Pilapil split his time
growing up between the San Fernando Valley, Hollywood and the Philippines. A comic book geek by nature, Steve ran a comic book store and became a
self-taught artist. Steve landed a position as a background artist on the
Fox hit TV show King of the Hill. He worked on the show for 8 years
and won an Emmy in 1999 for contributions to an Outstanding Animated
Program. He is currently a background artist on the ‘other’ Fox animated hit
The Simpsons. When Steve is not drawing Hank Hill’s garage or Homer
Simpson’s living room, he can be found moonlighting on Just Hank Productions
projects, including serving as the associate producer and storyboard artist
on Trail End.
